Ground Rent Increases – Be Warned!
Hello All, I’m posting this article as the ground rent issue is becoming a cause for concern for leaseholders and some longer term Freeholders. There is a growing trend for ground rents being auctioned off and many property companies are buying these ground rents, rewriting terms in some instances, which then permits an increase in cost which can be challenging for householders to achieve. Just beware of this trend!
